Do not buy this product.very Bad experience. it’s not compatible with my home theater system.
And above all, NETFLIX can not be installed on this TV.
What the hell would I watch without NETFLIX.
I am a prime member and have purchased of approx 3-4 las of amount product so far but this time Amazon is playing awfully bad to return the product. I am getting multiple visit of many engineers and multiple calls but item return is still not scheduled.
I think I wud think twice before placing any other order to Amazon.
Amazon is making my this shopping experience a nightmare.

Overall, this is a good tv in a budget. However, Netflix is not supported by default. You can use an external apk to install it but automatic updates will not be supported and the remote will also not be compatible with the app.

The media could not be loaded.
customer support unavailable as call disconnects automatically, if this is the case ,then not sure there will be any support if any issue occurs in future.. tv not unboxed will update once opens.

pros
1.picture quality looks good.
cons
1. see attched video
2. build quality 0/5 , super cheap quality plastic frame, not at all durable.
3. sound is loud but quality is poor 2/5
4. finishing quality 0/5. u can feel the cheap quality materials.
5. even for rs 16500/- it is too bad for the price
6. and the main issue i found is the bezels are not fitting properly on the screen..there is wiggle ( movement) in screen when touched slightly or clean with a cloth.
final- not a recommended product..does not oook durable at all, go for a little.more better quality as u get only what u pay for

Placed order on 6th august 20, got TV on 8th August, person came after 5 days for installation on 13th, TV worked for 3 days, the picture start showing big vertical patch on 17th August, called amazon, Kodak, emailed Amazon and Kodak, no service, no replacement, no refund. Totally stuck. Waiting till Sunday 23rd August. Monday going to file legal case in consumer court with a refund request as well demarage for Mental stress and time loss.
Tv worked for 3days, after 2 month panel replaced. Went down again in January, 21. Was replaced in Feb and now again went down in August. I am seeing a TV in my life 1st time which is going down 3 times in a year while other brand Tv no issue even for 5 plus years

Good product in this price range,if you are”Make in India or Made in India”Supporter, then it’s perfect option,I personally done lots of search n comparison, finally brought this.
After almost half month use, writing 2nd review here.
Pros:
1-Price
2-4k in this price range
3-2gb ram in this price range
4-picture quality
5-Fast n lack-free in Prime video and YouTube
Cons:
1-Sound issue which resolved after update (Patch,link send by customer care)
2-Netflix not pre-installed ,but you can install through pen drive
So finally,after eliminating these two minor issues,now this is the best option to buy in this price range.

I got the product on Friday, 7th Aug. Smart features and picture quality are good and remote is one aspect where it has scored all the browny points. Simple, elegant and looks too good. Picture clarity of SD channels is as it is supposed to be, but HD channels are very good so is streaming using any OTT or YouTube. Observed screen bleeding in more than a couple of places. But what irritates is the sound. The system just does not have any control at all. Sometimes the volume just shoots up, sometimes it just does not come at all, sometime it comes normally. Terrible to say the least when it comes to sound. Also, no Dolby or DTS encoding I think. There is no soothing experience one would get from these speakers, it is like good old mike system sound. Raised the issue with Amazon and let me see what they come up with.
Edit: 11Aug: Technician visited home and said issue with sound and got call from Amazon. The Amazon call was for refund for the TV as there was no stock. Arranged for pickup for 11th Aug. Got call from Kodak regarding the same and the guy asked me to install/update the TV through a link which I copied to USB and did. And ola, the sound issue is resolved. Now working perfectly fine and cancelled the return pickup. Now added one more star as overall the product is very good with multiple options to connect.

First of all, do not be fooled by the high rating. I got a call by kodak after purchasing the TV saying they will extend the warranty if I give a positive review.
The TV cannot handle dark scenes at all, the brightness goes up and down and screen almost flickers in the dark scenes.
Black is not dark enough. TV looks and feels like it is made of cheap plastic. Edges of the TV screen have weird white lights all over. There is no netflix and the TV is not connecting to my Wifi (luckily I am using my xbox as my entertainment system).
But what else would you get under 30k in 55 inch? I only needed the TV for a few months bcz I will be moving to another city so I didnt spend too much. But if you want a TV that you will use for as long as possible, save up and get LG/Samsung.
*I wasnt going to leave a review, but when kodak called me to leave a positive review I had to come and give an honest one.
